Drawings by David Goodrich: the Lemegaton

The Lemegaton was a 17th Century grimoire describing 72 demons that King Solomon supposedly put into a box and threw away, until curious Babylonians released them again. In 2002 I illustrated these demons. Below are 32 select demons. The entire set of 72 is available as prints, and can be ordered from me. See the Merchandise page for information about that.

All are ink on paper, © 2002.
They are of varying sizes but are all less than 7 inches tall.
