Modern Dance
Again, this was influenced by my interest in the punk rock scene. It's actually a specific reference to a concert that I saw of a punk band called Discharge. At least that's basically who the band is that I painted. The thrashing around is obviously what we used to call "Slam Dancing." I used a Futurist technique here to relate the movement of the slammers. The title was lifted from a song by one of my favorite groups, Pere Ubu.
